Monarch Butterfly

I stood out on the cabin deck overlooking the mountains by my favorite pristine aqua crystal blue lake. I pondered the family reunions my family have had there. I was thinking of the loved ones who have passed on, I was thinking of nobody in particular. What I am about to tell you is beautiful and amazing!

I stood on the deck, looking at the clear blue sky, and pine surroundings, suddenly a monarch butterfly flew over to me and landed on my finger. I have never seen a butterfly land on my finger with no fear; it sat on my finger opening and closing its wings for a couple of minutes! I was in awe, I couldn't imagine why that butterfly sat on my finger with so much serenity, it was as if life went into slow motion. Then the thought of my Mother came to me. I had an overwhelming feeling of peace that touched my heart, mind and soul from my Mother through the monarch butterfly! I know she wanted me to feel her love and be at peace.

I will never forget this sacred beautiful, clear, and peaceful moment where I know I communicated with someone on the other side; who was my sweet, beautiful, Mother. The message I felt and saw from the monarch butterfly will be etched in my memory forever!

Contest: The Other World in Everyday Life

The Jung Society of Utah is excited to welcome Lisa Williams on April 21 and 22. In anticipation of this great event, we want to hear about your experiences with the Other World.

Have you ever had contact with a loved one who has passed on, had an experience of synchronicity that profoundly affected you, received a message from the other side, or any similar type of experience?

Tell us about it for a chance to win a free ticket to Lisa Williams: A Night with Spirit on April 21.

Describe your experience in one of the following ways:

  • Write about it in a 250-500 word personal essay
  • Write a poem about the experience
  • Create a piece of artwork about the experience

Submit your entry via the Jung Society of Utah Facebook page or email to alb80@live.com before April 14.

One winner will be chosen in each category listed above, and all entries will be displayed the night of the event.

We look forward to hearing from our creative community about experiences with the Other World!
