Friday evening: Gift and purpose – The African tradition sees that every individual comes into the world with a specific gift and purpose, to contribute to the community and the world. We are not in this world to be crushed, yet have a gift to offer. When we are connected to our gift we experience a sense of purpose. This gift sometimes comes out in gentle ways, and other times it is being activated due to trouble. Malidoma will also talk about ways to find your gift and purpose.

Malidoma Patrice Some, PhD is from Brukina Faso, West Africa. He is a gifted shaman and holds three master’s degrees and two doctorates. He is a storyteller, author and spokesman of the West African wisdom tradition.
